Lindsay Chewanish (_{ᓕᓐᓰ ᒌᐧᐋᐦᔮᐦᓄᔥ}) hails from the Cree Nation of Chisasibi, a vibrant community located in Northern Quebec also called Eeyou Istchee. Lindsay's journey as an artist has been shaped by their experiences growing up in various places, particularly in the south of Quebec, before returning to their homelands seven years ago.

Lindsay explores visual art and digital media, utilizing software such as Procreate and Clip Studio to create captivating and imaginative works. Their art often focuses on depicting everyday life in the northern regions, using semi-realistic styles, landscapes, and character-driven narratives to tell stories.
